A rarity in my game, since I make sure to disable CC for random, but townies like to dress a hot mess. Though, I found this gal walking down the street and was surprised on how cute a face she had, but she was dressed in her job outfit (pizza girl). I thought she'd look good in white and purple so I had changed that and gave her a jacket. Actually since the last patch, I've found a more reasonable dress code at the festivals, sans geek festival. I still see an occasional turban or two but overall, the townies, NPCs aren't too bad, thank heaven. I was even so desperate I was throwing them into MC CAS right and left to keep my eyes from bleeding. :D Even the street walkers have decent outfits on.

I have no love for my townies. I can make the prettiest or most handsome sim possible and he or she always ends up with someone who looks like they take punches to the face for a living

My townies favor extra cropped tops and that hippie-ish long skirt. At events. they all show up wearing the same piece of CC content, whether that is a skirt or hair. I had five female aliens show up with variants of CC pigtails! I always have to edit townies.

I've seen a marked improvement since they changed it up a bit. They don't look near as outlandish as they use too. I'm happy for the improvement.

I used actually used Sims4Studio to disallow most clothing from being randomly assigned to townies. I don't see much variety in what they wear anymore, but at least they don't look like they dressed in the dark.
