Trait improvement thread
So I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread where everyone can post their suggestions on how to improve existing traits in the game.
This thread is for suggestions on how to improve EXISTING perks. It's not the place to suggest whole new ones.
I'll start with 2.
Great Kisser:
Currently this trait gives your sim bonus charisma gain when kissing another sim. The problem with this is that once your sim reached max 10 charisma, it makes this trait totally pointless and a waste of a trait slot.
SUGGESTION: Change this trait so that kissing another sim gives a big bonus to romantic relationship gain. This will make the trait actually worth taking, particularly for sims who are doing Love related aspirations, as they will be able to max out romantic relationships with other sims much faster, regardless if their Charisma is 10 or not. Making it a functional trait for the entirety of that sims life.
High Maintenance:
Currently this trait gives your sim a random negative moodlet at random times. Boring, not to mention repetitive when it's the same 5 reasons why your sim is angry or tense.
SUGGESTION: Instead of random negative moodlets, make it so that trait reduces the strength of positive moodlets by 50%, while strengthening negative moodlets by 50%. So for example, if something would make a normal sim Angry +1, it would make a high maintenance sim Very Angry +2.
This would truly make this trait true to it's purpose, by making a particular sim higher maintenance across all emotions and scenarios they find themselves in.
