Oh dear, reading the patch notes it sounds like this is exactly what they did.
On the Gameplay side, we have made some targeted improvements to a selection of Base Game personality Traits to make them more meaningful in gameplay. The idea is to provide these Traits a noticeable improvement so that Simmers can identify the specific Traits with more obvious visual cues and apparent, unique behavior.
Yeah, can't say I'm impressed. They only spent like 2 minutes talking about it in the livestream. They barely provided any examples.
Uh that's kind of a quick judgement without playing the game and trying them out.
I'm happy to be proved wrong. I don't have the game installed right now, but I look forward to hearing everyone else's experiences.
Sorry, my hopes aren't very high, given this game's track record.
I'm hopeful because I loved how sentiments were done. It's gonna take a while to explore though as I'm going to use my current families. I should have sims with all traits in my rotation, but yeah quite a long time.
