Tropical Island GP Preferred Feature

I'm trying to think of if snorkling and surfing could be reused in another activity like they did with ice/roller skating. Any ideas? :) Snowboarding does come to my mind, but it seems like that would require some flips too and wouldn't fit in the same pack.

Mermaids would be fun to play but I'd also like the swimmable oceans too.

Mermaids an swimmable oceans! Though Houseboats would be a nice addition, along with cruise ships you can send your sims on!

Mermaids are the only tropical thing I'm remotely interested in, though there are other occults I want more. I'm not someone who really cares to take Sims swimming in my game as there isn't much to do; it feels very static to me. I can't imagine I'd invest in a tropical island pack just because it's so far from my gameplay style, but mermaids would certainly at least pique my interest.

This is my dream for the Sims.

I like all of them, but I would want hotels to come back because I found them enjoyable in Sims 3 and already have a couple ideas for what I would do with them!
