Try City Living Free For The Weekend

Would love to try this but being available only through Origin and I'm using Steam, not sure I want to risk having to spend hours straightening out the two accounts after a Steam/Origin glitch

Ah so that's how the trial will work, I had hoped that it would be available for future packs. And now that tweet makes sense too, I guess the response from simgurufrost was probably a joke.

Oh well, I like City Living a lot (except the festival outfits during festivals...) so people should give it a try if they haven't played it.

You should probably make a copy of your save though if you want to try it on an existing save that you are currently playing or I guess you could take the risk and disable it after the trial, it should be fine...but in my experience, disabling a pack in a save and then enabling it again will be the same as you installing the pack again for the first time so the world will be empty again with new premade sims.

It's too bad that they are only having trials for old packs. Oh well. :'(

Yes. If you want to put City Living into saved games you have already created, you can. Simply select your Save from the LOAD screen on the Main Menu and when asked if you want to PLAY WITH TRIAL? Select Yes, Start as New Trial Save. Once you do that, The Sims 4 will make a copy of your save to use with the trial and lets you save your progress without affecting your original saved game files."

I was wondering which aspiration to assign my sim next and I think I'll join the weekenders and move her into an apartment and start the City Native aspiration. I've visited Sims in apartments but never played a sim living in an apartment so should be fun.

I have City Living, and paid full price for it. I wish I didn't---if it's not my least favorite pack, it's real close
