In the Maxis Monthly livestream it was revealed that The Sims 4 is going to get a complete remake in its logo, plumbob, icon, EP covers, etc. And since they are doing this massive redesign, it seems that they are planning to stay around for even longer? I think it's so ugly. And literally WHY? If you rebrand something, do it well.. this is just .. oh god.I mean WHO in the world thought that the new pack art and the new loadingscreen and main menu were good looking? Lol. It looks like someone quickly threw this together within 5 minutes and called it a day. Like.. ok.

Yikes. I know downgrading is pretty much on brand for the Sims 4, but this is a little ridiculous. This legit looks like something someone put together in less than 2 minutes. I mean, at least choose a color for the EPs that doesn't look so similar to the GPs. I know teal is supposed to be a mixture of blue and green, but the final look just doesn't work for me.

Maybe I'm being too nit-picky. but that's my first thought upon seeing this. Just one big yikes.

I like the new look, though I would have maintained the EP colours. The initial design started to look like 1976. However, this midway change is not good for people who are collecting the boxes.
