In the Maxis Monthly livestream it was revealed that The Sims 4 is going to get a complete remake in its logo, plumbob, icon, EP covers, etc. And since they are doing this massive redesign, it seems that they are planning to stay around for even longer? I think it's so ugly. And literally WHY? If you rebrand something, do it well.. this is just .. oh god.I mean WHO in the world thought that the new pack art and the new loadingscreen and main menu were good looking? Lol. What the hell is happening to the game???? A complete artwork redesign? I need to think how I feel about this. After 5 years... wow. This is pretty big considering it’s the whole game including the logo.

Also those EP covers look dread awful!!! What is this??

What was wrong with the old pack style and the old menu color schemes? I mean, they could have done a redesign (again) of the main menu without ruining this.

It looks like someone just discovered the contrast adjustment and went crazy.

The pack arts were always very clean and neat imo. Also the loadingscreen always was just clean and smooth.

I seriously cannot take them serious anymore. When you think it can't get worse, they always seem to find a way to make it worse.

The Sims team has made it clear they haven't even been thinking about a Sims 5 and have much more content planned for the next years so I'm not sure why people keep bringing it up. Im honestly not even sure there will be a Sims 5, but as long as they improve TS4, I'm fine with that.

Yes instead of creating a Sim from scratch you can answer some amusing questions and then the game will create a Sim with fitting traits and a career for you.

At least they didn't go so far to remake the whole in-game user interface. But still.... that loading screen feels so out of place.

It's definitely jarring to look at right now.

It always amuses me to think how many people said yes to something before it gets to the consumer. Like it's just so...blue?

The new CAS story mode sounds fun and the unlocked environment objects are waaay overdue.
