Hey guys! This is not a thread to bash if you don't like it or to complain. It's mostly out of curiosity. I personally don't think Jungle Adventures is something I would be into but I'm curious as to everyone's else's opinion. For those who do have it, what prompted you to purchase it? Was there something specific that drew you in? Did it meet your expectations? What do you like most about it so far?
If you don't have it, do you plan to get it eventually? If not, why? Was there a feature or something that you didn't like? Did it not just capture your interest?
I don't think it's a bad pack in my opinion but nothing about it really jumped out that made me feel like I just had to get, ya know? The concept seems neat but watching the trailer and reading the details about it doesn't really seem all that captivating. Maybe I'll get it later but I'm mostly curious about what everyone else thinks? Remember, keep it civilized and no bashing or complaining. :)
Its a mix, as others have stated, similar to OR this is one of those packs where, once you do it once or twice, it becomes boring quick. Also, the amount of loading screens in this one is WAAAYYYY worse than others. There is a loading screen every two seconds.
In my humble opinion, larger themes like this shouldn't have been in Gamepacks.....they feel unfinished and small when compared to comparable packs of their predecessors. The reason that Parenthood and Vampires worked so well as gamepacks is because it is VERY specific. This one just falls flat as it feels shallow......I will say that if you are a builder there are some AMAZING items in this pack. The only thing I find truly good about this pack are the items, the atmosphere of the world, and the new dances, its up to you whether that is worth $20 I suppose.
As I have said multiple times, we are at 3 1/2 years and by this point the sims 3 was already at the end of its lifecycle with 11 HUGE expansions, multiple stuff packs, and TONS of sims 3 store content. I am started to get concerned that we are almost 4 years in with Sims 4 and we are nowhere near that amount of content. We don't have weather yet, no university, no true gameplay and its worrisome. We had all that and more by now in sims 3, swimming in oceans, beaches, mermaids, witches, lifeguards, travel, france, egypt, china, the future, weather, snow, rain, thunderstorms, ice skating, snow boarding, surfing (store set), tons of cool store sets of italy type worlds, aurora skies with its gorgeous vistas and hot air balloon, horses, show jumping, tons of family play with generations like teaching our teens to drive, kids could trick or treat, have gist giving parties, you culd own resorts, go on boats, wind surf, etc etc etc etc......and that is just 10% of the things we had, but its way too much to list lol  .
