TS4 Just Acting EP?
Get Famous look awesome so far, especially the world and all the acting depth. Still... this hollywood recreation is missing a recording studio for singers, and a stage to perform on. Literally two ob...

Read.....the.....tweets!
Where is the tweet that says: 'We have revised (all) the previous released careers and added new gameplay elements to said careers'?
Like I mentioned before; fame and reputation is a seperate system, that's why it works with certain jobs/skills etc.
They are not going to update the previous released careers at all, the only difference is that you can get famous by (for example) being a writer or painter.
I haven't seen anywhere any guru saying that they add new gameplay elements to the careers. (for example having a book signing when you are a famous writer) or having your own ''cooking show'' as a famous chef, or being able to record songs in a recording studio if you are a famous entertainer/singer.
The only difference it's going to make is that you are going to have hysterical ''fans'' and paparazzi following you around, and you can sign autographs. It really is a simple universal system.
But we will see. I hope I am dead wrong and they surprise us with tons of new gameplay for all the careers. Only a month to go, i'll wait.
Stop trying to put words in my mouth. I said they added fame to all careers which make them more fun to play. I never suggested new gameplay elements. That being said, if your sim becomes a famous writer or painter or criminal or spy, it is possible to have fans, stalkers and paparazzi following them around which would be new gameplay for that career. Being a fame pack, there will no doubt be an autograph interaction which, if set up in a book store next to a table with books, will give the appearance of a book signing. If the studio elements are available in build mode, you might be able to create a small, local TV studio where your chef sim could appear to have a cooking show. It all depends on how much of an imagination you have and how you put it to use in this game.
I'm not paying 40 bucks to pretend gameplay has been added. LOLGF adds more careers because now each career is revised to allow a sim to be famous so, every career in this game is practically new.
For them to be "practically new" Careers it would require a big improvement like adding new gameplay elements that @rudy8292 mentioned, not for it to appear as if it has been added.
This whole game from day one is about pretending.
Yeah, um, I didn’t want to pretend the toddlers were there when they weren’t there on day one, lol.
I pay (and wait for) for content, not for imaginary things that aren’t even there. I can imagine for free doing other things.
There is a reason we pay for packs: for the fleshed out content. If I wanted to use purely my imagination like this argument says, then I don’t need to pay EA anything!
Why we paying for digital air if it’s not going to be content-filled?
I mean, we can’t pretend we have restaurants, Vampires, toddlers, University, Seasons, and so on unless we buy said packs, right?
