Actually The free career is a stylist. The Influencer career is one of the ones that come with Get Famous. It comes with real life influencer Baby Ariel's Sim with the EP. Ariel was on tv talking about it a couple days ago - and then she also went to Sims Camp and talked with all the "Influencers there and Game Changers".
They do call it the style influencer career so really I don't know. I remember what they showed us in the stream was not fully done yet so maybe they showed the camp group a more done version.. it still might be that career that's coming free? I'm really only interested in making sims over with it as a profession so the blogging, media influence ect parts I'll only pay as much attention too as I have too to get them progressed. Mostly because well that sort of influence doesn't attract me much personally. I just want to get my hands on townie sims and make them over and influence fashion choices per save game.
Well they are both Influencers technically - but one you need the new ep for - the one Baby Ariel is in the game for - the other you only need the base game. The one with the sketch pad does not need the ep. That is the one from the Free team they showed us a little of along with the Terrain tool.
