Literally two objects could have made a singing career in Get Famous. Won't people be outraged if they release a "singing superstar/concert EP"? Especially with the fact that the fame element is also needed with singers. Same goes for modeling.Why were they left out and do you think you'd be okay if they released them as extra DLC later?

I think the idea behind this pack is to get your Sims to be famous.. Regardless of the careers... and the acting career is one of the newest career... I'm guessing, if in the future, there'll be a singers pack.. I assume it will be a GP..it is a shame that it is not part of this pack... but, we can't say anything more yet, because... we need to wait for the second trailer..

In Get Together, the reason it was classed as an EP was because it added the Club System, which took a lot of programming and has changed the game for the long-term.I will concede that maybe the coding for Getting Famous might take a lot of effort and change a lot of gameplay throughout. But I'm suspicious that it might not.

I think it's gonna be a good EP even with just the acting/famous career and I'm looking forward to seeing more of the new world.

EA don't repeat things that cause uproars usually - so we made our choice when we had a fit over the first dlc for an ep why on earth would they revisit that?

I don’t care! I want my fantasy catwalk and the supermodel career from Superstar back again. I want the sewing machine again. I want the stuff from the past, and I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask for the cool stuff from the past!

We got tons of stuff from Sims 1 (and the Sims 2 and Sims 3), so I’m expecting more stuff in a sequel so many years later!

Sometimes, the Sims can get pretty fantastic at times. I mean, we got magic, vampires, aliens, a walking scarecrow, and those creepy gnomes, for goodness’ sake!

I’m getting a bit tired of being told to not expect much from a Sims game. I had tons of enjoyment from the Sims 1 and Sims 2 games, so I don’t think I’m being unreasonable for wanting more cool stuff in a game series that used to give us awesome stuff.

How do the Guru's make your fantasy type modelling unless they asked you how to make it. You cannot expects what you imagine it to be if they make the game loosely based on how it is actually done. You will always be disappointed if you let your vision of how something is or should be to how it's actually works in real life.

Hopefully, it’s all done well and properly fleshed out to make up for the lack of multiple careers. The systems do sound interesting...but I need to see more of the movie content and other content to feel it’s worth spending that much money on the pack.

I’m so-so about the acting stuff. I’ll have to see how it actually works and if it allows enough flexibility and creativity to be worth going down that route.

I totally understand why it will be great if we can have more careers related to getting famous.. I do agree... besides than singing, acting... being a model is also one of the careers where the Sims can gain a fame or reputations.. In fact, there're a lot more careers out there too... It is a nice idea if we can have add on pack, something like free time/hobbies as you mentioned... They could be famous for what they enjoy doing too.. because, why not?

I think, for now, we need to wait for more info on this...we haven't heard or read much about it, yet.. :)

Yeah, couldn't agree more.. the only things that confirm for the fame is the ownership for retails, restaurants or vets are not contributing to it..
