I haven't purchased lovestruck. By design, my married and couples in relationships are very committed to each other. I'm worried that lovestruck would destroy their relationships if I'm not playing them. I also don't want any of my Sims to be attracted to anyone else except for their spouse or Sim they are in a relationship with.
This pack does have features that I would like to have in my game; but, I will not risk the committed relationships I've established. My game is in a good place in this regard.
From everything I've read, there doesn't seem to be a way to turn off this feature in the pack. It would be nice if they would tweak the settings so that if one isn't actively playing a household, they would maintain their own love.
I just can't handle every couple's love turning into an Edward and Juliannna.

I can understand that. Fortunately I only play four families so it shouldn't be too much of a problem to pop in and make sure things are going okay. It's going to be a big change for me because prior to Lovestruck my couples were rarely romantic. Only whohooing to have babies, no date nights, no affection, etc. Just focused on raising kids, advancing in careers and building skills.
I haven't checked Hannah or Juliette's relationships yet but I almost guarantee neither has a steamy dynamic. 😄
I'll be using the pack mostly with Isabel. She's the only sister without a partner.
