I know people say it's yet another ghost town.. but I disagree. Without any mods in, if not counted no visible eco effects, my sim's homestreet was always like this, even at 11pm.. when usually much nothing happens in most of the worlds.
There was 3 more sims around + vendor, but did not make it in picture. Maybe only my game, or this is not enough for most, but I found it populated enough for me 😊
I agree. It’s not a ghost town at all in my game. I think it’s mostly helped by the small footprint of the neighborhoods. I hope they continue on that route. I find that there’s a lot to do in the neighborhoods, but everything is very concentrated. I always see Sims out and about as long as I’m not in a community lot.
Oh, that looks quite populated in my book, too! The only place I think is a bit ghosty at times is the night market of Tomarang, it might be because the few NPCs actually there are in different places, plus a market sounds like a busy thing like the San M. festivals. I'll keep an eye on my street at 11pm :)
I agree! I took my sims to the neighborhood with the park and a lot of other sims were out and about. They kept bumping into one another, there were so many! Seems pretty lively to me 🙂
I'm looking forward to going through all my sims to add turn-ons and turn-offs. It'll be... interesting.
Now that I know some, I can plan ahead some. Though I am wondering: will more packs add more turn-ons and turn-offs? Can sims be turned-on or turned-off by occult stuff for example?
Anyway, about... let's see... 948 sims will be awaiting their turn-ons and turn-offs! Of course they include children and pets, but yeah...
i love the new date system so much! Everything is so individualized now, keyed to the sims dating, instead of generic roses and flirting tasks. I brought a couple to be on a get to know date with the tasks "stargaze", "have drinks", "flirt" and "be mean" and they actually gain points from harassing the barkeep. Also the new options to talk about the things they did (stargazing and drinks) add to the experience. The couple brought their best friend (same household) and their superior (different household) along, and while they stargazed, the two guests kept on harassing patrons and ordering drinks, also adding to the date meter.
I can see myself playing dates more often from now on.

I'm going to have to cheat to get those. I want to put them in a honeymoon suite. Does anyone know the cheat for career objects?
My first thought when I saw it. Why lock it behind a career? bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement all the way! (or just free build from map view).
After the livestream I'd say (that is, if I remember everything 😅):
- Awesome basegame updates (eyelashes, romantic boundaries, boy/girlfriend/partner straight from CAS, copy things to other outfits, curved pools). The boundaries/jealousy system looks really well thought out.
- The attraction system looks good, lots of options, also nice that they included the romantic activities in there.
- I'm excited for the date system, there seem to be different goals attached to the activities, so definitely more interesting than the MWS wedding party system.
- Dating app looks nice, also convenient that it displays whether or not something is a turn-on or turn-off.
- Interested to see how the romantic satisfaction plays out, also interested to see what happens in relationships with less than perfect compatibility.
- Build/buy look nice, happy about the new pool trims and the bed canopy that can be used for most existing beds. And the flower wallpaper 🌺
- Kinda missed the new clothes because my dog was begging for his evening snack 😅 But I'm sure the whacky costumes make for interesting gameplay.
- I also heard 'optional' mentioned several times - which is always a win.
I knew I forgot something, the customisable shower cubicles. I do hope it comes with a single tile door, but it didn't look like it. I guess it's for the luxury penthouse only.
And the axolotls, forgot those as well.
I wonder if the cubicles can be used in gyms without Sims being embarassed. That would be fantastic.
So apparently the female sim from the trailer has a sad backstory .Her husband left her with her children,but now there older.
I am going to make sure this woman gets the husband she deserve.
Also on accident her son is dating my sin
