The boundaries/jealousy system sounds pretty nice too.
I am genuinely suprise it's more fleshed out than I thought it will be
... And I LOVE the Sims-2ish checking out the room and that physical aspects are included into the attraction system ...
I liked the live stream, although it got a bit too detailed for my gaming style. I prefer things to be more intuitive, with less need to check miles of menus and user interface. Anyway, it's probably a case of getting familiar with it all.
During the stream when they ate chocolates, I could not help wishing there was a way to deliberately feed another sim poisoned chocolate :) Would be a "nice" and dramatic way to break up, haha. There could be a 50/50 chance of surviving. I watched a crime series last night, I normally prefer good candy. Would fit the new option of "ignore relation", though :)
Love the world, am busy planning the lots! Might need to ad a suspect candy store then...
I watched the Lovestruck Live Stream and I can't wait for this pack to release! The sad thing is I will be leaving for vacation the day after release. 😢 Oh well, I'm a big girl, I can play to my heart's content when I get back but I will be thinking about playing while on my trip. Ha. Ha. I am really looking forward to the new eyelashes, the new things in CAS, the new foods and the City. It looks wonderful and I always make a new sim and move them in right away. It may take me some time to get used to all the new love and relationship interactions, but I will try them. Well the whole purpose of this post is to say "I can't wait to play".
please keep improving the game with new features like the ones seen in this new update, eyelashes are amazing and needed, keep adding more options for us console players, we have no mod support so it's impossible to have customization like this without official support from Maxis. can't wait for what the future holds ❤️
really wish they would do collab with CC creators to add better eyelashes in the base game
I am glad that we have eyelashes category now but in all honesty these don't hold candle to CC lashes
and I say that as player who doesn't even use CC or mods
those eyelashes are like first thing I would add if I added CC to my simsI never cared about CC eyelashes (although my mods folder is at bursting levels). I just grew used to sims with no eyelashes. I'm excited that we now get them in base game, and I do agree with you that they are a bit meh. I would expect them a tad less bold, aaand that the lower part would be a bit less massive than the upper part. In RL the upper eyelashes are always longer and thicker, probably a way nature wanted to help us keeping the sun away from our eyes. In TS4 it looks like the lower part is about the same as the upper part. It would be fine for model sims and dating sims who might even add some extensions, but not for the regular house keeping sim who hardly use makeup. So - I wish the base game eye lashes would look more everyday and less "I added *all* my mascara + a little extra to make sure I stand out in my kitchen".
Another disappointment is that eyelashes are accessory. I'd rather see them as a genetic thing added to each and everyone at least from teen and up. Inheriting long/short eyelashes from your parents would be exciting, too. Now, it seems we must add them to each sim individually in CAS, like we ad makeup. Good fr the makeup sims, but I feel sorry for all the others (the majority, including male sims) who - in my game - must live on without this little extra...
(oh! that turned out to a long rant. Maybe i should write a book on this subject, LOL)
Although I have been looking forward to Lovestruck, I had actually started to fear what changes it would bring to Basegame, because I love to compose and orchestrate my Sims' emotions and love affairs with a tight hand in my story writing.
I am therefore pleased to see that everything appears to be able to be set on and off in the settings. I really appreciate that the game can be adjusted according to individual needs in this way 💖
Next to my main game, I have a test game where most things are allowed to develop without limits 😆- I love the eyelashes (Even though I didn't know I missed them)
- I also love that you can easily copy make-up, jewelery and clothes into the different clothing categories.
- I love that you can easily open a sim's personality card (don't know the word) without going into the list of friends and acquaintances.
- I love the personal boundaries and desires that come with CAS and that the sim can have multiple levels of relationships beyond engagement and marriage.
- All these cuddling options I'm going to love too.
I love a lot of what I see so there is probably more but until then I will stop here.

That blanket is large enough to fit at least four sims for a picnic, but they probably thought that more than two sims is a crowd for a romantic picnic. I suppose if we bring more sims along on a date, we can also bring more blankets, but if they allowed upto 8 sims to come on the date, why not allow them all to have a picnic together?
I don't know but I assume thats because its a love blanket I'm fine with 2 sims tbh all the sims don't have to sit on same blanket at the same time
like kids could play etc and give their parents some space for lurv
+ this reduces random walkbys sitting on your love blanket while your sims are trying to get flirty on it
