Sounds good. Food is an important thing to me in the Sims.
Same. I'm really excited for this update.

I'm half curious, half wary about the food, dining, and drink improvements. To be honest, it doesn't bother me at all whenever the sims (before the current break, or rather, hiatus from the game it was 1 adult and 3 young adults) in my main save autonomously eat meals either in the living room or outside on the benches.

Sounds like a great patch. And I have some wishes...
"The team is exploring adding more existing recipes to Family Recipes."
It would be great if the family recipes would include nectar making. Adding extras to the nectar recipe would really make for nice ranch/family traditions! And, I do hope they might make sims less busy preparing group meals when I enter a lot at 2 AM. I play rotationally and normally switch lots while sims are supposed to sleep, but way to often find that nobody is in bed but they are grilling or cooking... should be easy to program that when entering a house between 1AM and say 5AM most sims are asleep. I guess their hunger bar overrules all logics...
I use mod for the preroll, but I second the wish for nectar included to that and to more , where it is not currently.
but yes in general more in those receipes would be really cool.

Do we have a date yet for the next update? Is it coming this week?

Oh, dear. Should I hold off on starting that new save until it drops? Or just sally forth and then back up the save prior to Patch Day. Oi! Thanks for the Heads Up!

Food is a very important part of life. Think about how often we gather to share a meal in RL, whether to celebrate something, or to say Farewell to a deceased friend or family member.
