What type of community lot would you suggest. Too bad we didn't get a celebration or event lot. You know a lot that's designed for holding court and balls, perhaps in combination with weddings and funerals. Especially for lower ranking nobles it makes sense to have a kind of palace to visit and use the throne.

Great info. Looks like I'm going to have to set up a community lot for Julianna, Dame of Chestnut Ridge.

Some info on the throne objects. I checked that it actually works on a community lot, so if it feels a bitt too royal in a smaller noble home, you can have your community throne room with plenty of seats and more extragavanza than your home space allows. Combined with toasting and debates etc, depending on your additional packs, such a venue could be quite interesting.
Note that only nobles of that kingdom/world can use the throne though, so it depends on were your nobles are located.
If your sim wants to perform anything beyond "sit" or "join noble career", the throne has level restrictions:
Donate to kingdom funds: requires Noble career level 2.
Hold court: requires Noble career level 3.
Bestow knighthood: requires Noble career level 4.
Enact noble decree: requires Noble career level 5.
Set kingdom taxes: requires Noble career level 7.
Grant noble title: requires Noble career level 10.The noble speech podium comes with the same options as the other podiums we already have. Like the throne, noble specific optin can only be performed within the kiingdom of your nobility:
The only option with noble career requirement:
Hold press conference: requires Noble career level 4. - Simmerville19 days agoLegend
A world is defined a Kingdom if someone residing the world joined the nobility career. There won't need to be a king.
When editing the career titles, you can select to add the same adjustments to all kingdoms. Note that they do not mean "all worlds", but all worlds where someone works in the nobility career.
All nobles get the title + "of Windenburg" or "of San Myshuno" etc. I means it will look a bit weird if you have several sims on the same level in the same world, but with some imagination and a next promotion it should not be a big deal. In my game nobility is already settled, but they are pretty well spread. If I was to start over, I'd have max 2 noble families in each world, maybe 3 in the larger worlds.
