Phones don't work if you play off grid, make all lots in the kingdom off grid lots and don't use solar panels and such. 

I am getting this even though there is not really a specific feature, so far, winning me over (it's more an overall feel so far). I hope that existing family trees can be edited and made into royals, because I'd love to create occult royal families for each respective pack's pre-mades (such as Summerdream, Vladislaus Straud, etc.).

Why I think I am getting this, because noble is considered a career and I have been needing a career for a niche character in my game that would fit perfectly for drama and social/task based. Swordsmanship, this is so needed, and I am glad it is finally added. The the CAS/Build Buy interests me (and the tea time kit!). And lastly they have it aimed... for fantasy (even if it is not too obvious) magic mirror, frog kissing, glass slipper, sword in the stone—I am a fantasy/occult based player.

I mean... curses about fricking royals on cell phones! But I am very intrigued about the other stuff, swordsmanship looks cool!

My biggest worry is how invasive the systems will be for when you don't want to play with intrigue and prestige.  You can't turn off Romantic Satisfaction from Lovestruck, but you can turn off Balance and Luck from Enchanted by Nature.  I'm hoping that Prestige, Unity, and Scandals will have similar toggles.

Blast! Every time I think I'm out, here's the Sims with a pack that hooks me back in.  Yeah, this is a must for me. Swordfighting alone is enough. But all the rest too.
