I just had a thought looking at the trailer again. Specifically, those thieves that appear in the background in the 2:12-2:16 area.
I have speculations. About a feature that may be either part of the expansion itself, or in the accompanying base game update, related to burglary.
Burglars are an iconic part of Sims gameplay (even if it took years for them to be added to the Sims 4). But I think it's safe to say that Robin Banks and her modern-day criminal garb would NOT fit in the aesthetics of Ondarion and this expansion as a whole.
So could it be that world-specific burglars are getting added? That could be good for people who like making the world their own!
A tiny bit related, because there can be one king per world, we might finally get a system where also most npcs will be local. It makes sense if random commoners visitig court are not from a complete different zone, like Windenburg in the north, having their own king, courtingthe king in a tropical kingdom randomly. I would like to avoid seeing Judith Ward approaching every single king in the universe, which she would do based on the old system. Just speculations, though...
I'm opposite. I love the idea of Judith as an "Aunt Alicia" character who makes the rounds of different kings causing scandals wherever she goes.

Yeah, but I the phones used in this pack in spreading gossip and scandals felt like they wouldn't fit either. Wish that could be turned off.
Ugh, agreed. I'm really hoping that the phone use in scandals is just one option and not something we're forced to use. That would destroy that feature for me because I mod out autonomous phone use. The scandals and drama is a feature I'm looking forward to hearing more about, so I hope it doesn't disappoint.
