I think I will play this as a jeweler that claims to make the jewelry for the royal family. I'm assuming there's no cross play for the jewelry workbench but I can gift the jewelry I make to the king or queen who will then wear the jewelry. I just need to figure out how to make it scandalous that my sim is claiming to be the royal jeweler.
It really is disappointing that they didn't use this opportunity to expand what you can make with Crystal Creations. Is it too much to ask that my werewolf queen have a Moonstone powered crown?

So far I've thought of using a gem that makes sims more likely to give money when asked. I'll need to make sure it's charged before I give them the jewelry and then ask for money. Maybe I could be discovered in a scandal first, then gift them the jewelry and keep asking for money.
