TS4 Storybook Nursery and Artist Studio Kits Releasing September 19

Regarding the Storybook Nursery kit, I was just asking for this recently! I requested some dark swatches for young Occults so they could fit into the family, and these are beautiful! I hope there are additional dramatic swatches as well, like deep purple, crimson, emerald green, cobalt blue, and a nice gray. I also love the styles they went with, and I'm really excited to see the infant playpen because the single one I have to use over and over has nothing but rainbow swatches and it just won't do for my Vampires and dark denizens. 

I still would like to see some swatch updates for base game toddler and younger stuff, but wicked psyched for this and I know I'll use it all the time because I've finally had somewhat of a baby boom in my game this year and I'm not used to it, lol. Send help!

I had to download custom content for the infant play mat when I was playing the Fengs. They're not even occult, although they would make great vampires, but there is no way one of the current play mats was going in their living room.

Right? 😃 

I love the object,  it's really useful but it's so... noisy... to look at. If that makes any sense. 😄

I am a little bit on the edge about the two kits. I really like the Storybook Nursery kit but I don‘t play much with infants and toddlers. I wanted to buy the Artist Studio kit but I am not convinced by the items in this pack. So I might skip them both. 

I prefer the nursery kit but I'll buy both kits.

It makes a change for me to be excited by releases these days, but these kits both look fab.

I am very pleased about the inclusion of a new style of woodwork bench and easel in the artist kit, and I've always wanted more messy paint décor for my artists. I wish they would add more paintings into the game though (ones our sims paint), and more sculptures to make.

The nursery items look adorable and it's great that there is at least one dark swatch.

These kits look good but I'm a little disappointed by Maxis. After 4 games they needed SixamCC to tell them that the Painting skill could have artist stuff.

Sometimes other video game studios seem to be more inspired than Maxis.

We already have quite a lot of artist stuff spread across the different packs and it's possible to create a decent looking artist studio. This kit will be in addition to those objects and, with it being a kit, it will be lot easier to find than the other ones.
