My favorite feature is probably how I can have sims still keep relationships with other sims and they can come visit no matter what world it is.
No lost relationships, lost family trees or anything like you had to start all over just because you moved your sim to a different world. Plus, you can see other sims visiting in the world from time to time or at other places, which I really enjoy, so it never feels like there's some heavy penalty for sims living far away from one another.
