Turn off all hair growth?

I put the length of beard on my one Sim then, after quite some time and another player saying so, I went back into CAS to turn on the hair growth. He did grow some facial hair, that I had him very carefully shave off again. I think you may have to set it per individual Sims. I'm surprised to learn that NPS are growing hair. I don't believe all that many of us touch the NPCs to take them into CAS to set things up for them. At least, we shouldn't have to, I wouldn't think. Yikes. And the bugs just keep on comin'! Oi!

When I reopen it, the game didn't save at the save point but one in the past. And it has a hair growth issue. Interesting. Now I wonder whether the issue could be with new saves? All of my saves are at least 6 months old (most several years old). Or does this happen in your older saves as well?

It's probably a new save issue. Like you all of my saves were underway before HSY and none of those sims has any hair growth. I noticed the other night when I went into CAS to create some new sims, none of the older CAS premades spawned with body hair. If I started clicking the randomize button those sims would often have at least one form of body hair but growth was never active.

Yep, this is my first new save post updates and HSY and when I click randomize in cas it will more often than not give the sim body hair and enable the growth. I didn't even realize my female sim had back hair until she went swimming. So I'm guessing this is the issue as is the issue with the over accessorized townies and random seasonal wear for pre mades. Soooo... I'm glad it's not effecting my previous saves but this new save, I'm glad it's just a challenge with an ending because the hair is getting out of control. I even get prompts to support hair growth for the sim they're talking to. I've never picked that prompt but I see that it's there which could potentially prompt beard growth... which is happening regardless.

@wahini2024 The thing with piercings and other accessories is exactly what popped into my head when I saw the body on every sim. I guess for now all sims we don't recognize must be presumed hairy until proven otherwise. So far I've been lucky and caught all of them in CAS, not on the beach.

Well we have a very opposite problem but still an issue. It's weird seeing every pre made with an absurd amount of facial hair and Sulani Beach... it's hairy, very very hairy

I sympathize with the immersion killing weirdness but your post made me think "ooo take me to Sulani!" ?
