Turning a sim into a vamp

I dont know where to ask this question so if not here I'm sorry. How do you turn a sim from your gallery into a vampire or can you? Like a sim you had as a human origionaly but would like to turn into a vamp now or whatever. I tried but couldnt figure it out without making a total seperate vamp sim.

Well you could go to Forgotten Hollow and make friends with some Vampires - talk to almost anybody and they'll be a vampire. Then you can Ask To Turn (it doesn't take long) and BAM, you're a vampire. Well,not BAM. Takes a couple of days of food-hating. But, no cheating required.
