I'm constantly checking the date everytime I see the word "Wheelchair" on Twitter since I half think it's April Fool's joke

Not to be rude but i think that wheelchairs would really ruin the fantasy aspect of the game. I know dont have to use them blah blah blah but thats my opinion

I really like the fact that the sims team seems to be trying to be more transparent. I appreciate gurus taking the time to just answer some of our daily game questions and concerns. I hope this continues. Nothing bothers me more than absolute silence when a problem or controversy arises.

I would like to see wheelchairs in the game. I work with children and I was surprised to see just how much it means to them when something like a doll or tv show represents them. It would take nothing away from my game but would make a large group of people feel included and important enough to be represented.

Same. Representation is always important. Just because you don't want something in the game doesn't mean that there isn't others that do.

This game isn't just fantasy, a lot of simmers have realistic gameplay. Plus it's a life simulation.

I definitely get the piercing thing. They’d either be to little to really see, or your sim would probably end up looking like a budget Six Paths of Pain.

Oh I never thought about that. I hope they can find some workaround if they do decide to do it cause I can see the routing turning into a disaster lol

I've mentioned this before-I think wheelchairs and differently abled Sims (visually challenged, deaf, etc.) would elevate Sims 4 from a great game to a great game that can be used as a teaching tool.
Imagine how many places (schools, businesses, government, inter-personal training) Sims 4 could be used to teach people compassion and understanding for differently abled people.

I'm just want to get this out there.. but we shouldn't talk about having differently able sims (Despite the fact Grant started this on Twitter) on this site, because a (former?) staff member believed it was lobbying

@EA_Mage Are we allowed to talk about differently able sims on here because of some comments on Twitter Grant one of the Sims' team members?
