UGH! Nightclubs and Celebrities!

One of the few things you can do in sims 4 is go to a Nightclub. Get Famous totally breaks that event if you have a DJ Booth. And why wouldn't you have a DJ Booth??? Meaningful activities are limited as it is.

When celebrities show up at a nightclub it becomes a total nightmare. The DJ and everyone else stops what they're doing (constantly) and fawns over the celebrities. They just stand around and do stupid things. You can't even have a conversation anymore. How much of that PLUM can you watch before extreme tedium sets in???

There has to be a better way because this celebrity thing isn't working. There's no balance to the experience. :(

apparently, celebrity sims are immune to the voodoo dull, its summon ability is a great way to test stuff.

I have turned off fame in my save and deleted pretty much all of the celebs that came with the pack. Created a few new celebs that suited my game and now there is only one 5-star celeb and the rest of them are 3 or below. Feel like it has been much better after turning fame off and removing all the extra celebs that my game did not need.

I know that I'm extremely late to this thread but figured I'd share a small fix for anyone interested....
All you have to do is have your celebrity sim click on a mirror and choose "Wear celebrity disguise". No one bothers my sims when they go dancing now, although they have a really ugly hat and glasses. As for any other celebrities that show up I use MCCC to force them to leave before they have a chance to do anything. The sims around mine will comment that tehy think it's them but won't be bothered for autographs or pictures while disguised
