Ugly children
Has anyones Sim children ever grow up to be kinda… ugly? Do you ever fix that or just deal with it?

I wouldn't change the sim if I found them "ugly". I'd try to fix them with hair/make-up/glasses, maybe change the eyebrows, but I wouldn't cheat and edit their genetics. I've never had a REALLY bad case of this though, but then I'm also of the mindset that less attractive sims isn't such a bad thing. Not everyone is a supermodel IRL either.
