Ugly children

I try not to edit my sims' offspring but if they have an absurdly large feature sometimes I'll fix it. I find it interesting that most of the comments on this thread complain their sims' offspring don't have enough of their parent's features but I seem to have the opposite problem! Many of my female sims have daughters that could be their twin! It's a little bit frustrating because I'd like to see a new face haha.

The blonde one reminds me of one of Meryl Streep's daughters.

Ah I'm not surprised hah. Every time I point out a sim to a family member that I think looks like a celebrity/public figure nobody ever seems to agree!

Overall, I don't like how many premades pass down their features. I feel the prettiest offspring comes from Sim you create yourself.

I try not to switch features but I will tweak as little or as much as is needed. Some really need a lot of tweaking, Paolo Rocca's children often need a lot lol.

I usually fix it to some extent but this time I just let him be his ugly self. Although as soon as a baby turns into a toddler and I cheat just to see what they will grow up into.

I always end up changing hair because that's something that's normal and realistic to change, but I've had pretty good luck with genetics so I usually stick with them. I tweaked the face of the next heir for my legacy because it was so narrow that none of the hair looked right but that's about as major as the plastic surgery gets in my game for sim children.
