His eyes look kinda spread out but he doesn't look bad and his chin isn't as bad no more. - I usually just fix their bodies lol Especially when the ladies or guys have droopy boobs.

I don't change the features of the Sims born in this save, but I do on occasion in others. When I do, I don't usually change their features completely, but tweak the ones they already have to make them more proportional. - I don't modify the features, when a sim grows up to be hideous I slap a custom skin on them and they look fine. I haven't had many cases of genetics truly going wrong yet but I tend to use subtle, natural skin overlays on all my sims and they make sim faces appear to be much nicer than originally while not being exaggerated or ultra realistic.
- I used to always edit my kids' appearance. I would go into cas.fulleditmode once they became a toddler, make them a YA, tweak them to my liking, and age them back down. I don't do it anymore, it's just not as fun. Then again I'd tweak even if it was a minor thing that bothered me. Now I think any little "imperfection" gives them character instead.
I think genetics as a whole have improved, though. Sure, the "play with genetics" thing generally turns out bad (no chin syndrome etc) but when you actually make them have kids in-game they pretty much always look good. - sjofn777 years agoSeasoned VeteranI've been tempted, not because I think the kid is ugly, but because the dude in my avatar has ridiculously strong genes, and his kids (especially his sons) start to look kinda same-y after a while.
