Actually, looking at the picture, those small blocks underneath the line make it look like they're supporting the upper half, which looks wider. You could just go with it & say the line's part of the support?

Yes that's part of the design ^^ I'm also gonna add more of the triangular beam things so it really looks like the top is supported...
