Ugly white band on the bottom of walls

Found another website to host my pic and edited my first post.
Somehow the picture can't be seen on mobile, apologies for that. On desktop it shows just fine.
@Simmerville No platform, no. Just regular floors on top of each other...

So, a description for mobile users who can't see the pic: my problem doesn't look like a glitch, just a white band at the bottom that doesn't get covered by the wallpaper when the room extends beyond the room that supports it. When the floors are in exact continuity of each other, no problem, no visible 'break'. Only in this instance where the top floor is wider than the lower one.
