Unable to adopt pets

Question

I've just tried to adopt a kitten in my game. The animal shelter sim shows up but does nothing but stand around and there was no option to adopt the kitten only to end the evaluation. How does pet adoption work as usually I create them in CAP is this a bug?

Ah ok it’s not just me then I have no mods or cc so it must be a bug. Thank you I appreciate your feedback on this ?

Try clicking on the kitten, there should be an interaction to adopt.

There was no kitten to click on just a box with no interaction. No kitten was on the lot.

I just tried it in the new game, no mods and it seems the patch really broke adoption as well :( I also had only the box, no kitten or shleter worker...
I have adopted kitten a few days ago and it worked fine...
