Understanding "Journey to Batuu" issues

There are not enough toilets in Batuu. My sim has to put adventure on hold and go back to the hotel because of toilet needs and it's rather obvious and jarring if you happen to be in a different neighbourhood when the need strikes. Streets must smell awful there. Also, all the huge rabbit hole buildings suck, would have been nice to actually be able to enter them, and this includes the hotel. They should have made the hotel into a rentable space that we could decorate.

I love Star Wars but there is literally zero to do in Batuu, it's all just really empty set dressing, without so much as a hotel or rental I can see the inside of (in fact, there's really only one visitable lot lmao), the aliens are just sims wearing masks. Idk it's lazy. It's pretty and that's about all. Sure, some of the items look cool but this isn't a SP, sooo. Idk, as much as I love SW, I will never be able to support this pack.

The problem with Journey to Batuu is that TS4 already had aliens that are woefully underutilized. Instead of introducing more alien costumes and a theme park world, EA could have spent that time and money fleshing out the aliens that have been a big part of The Sims franchise from the beginning and expanding Sixam, their homeworld.

I'm one who enjoyed the pack even though I'm not a big star wars fan. The BB is fantastic and I love these packs like strangerville that are different and more story oriented.
And much as I like sandbox a little something different is never a bad thing. Especially because I'm a big fan of RPGs.

But what knocked a few stars off for me is the limitations. It's the most oddly limited pack we have in ts4.
I just wanted more freedom. My sims would LOVE to live in a batu world, especially my aliens but nope. Can't even do a traditional vacation and outfits are restricted.

More force powers would have been super cool

The ability to use Droids and earned interactions would have made this 5 stars.
I got my sim to a top ranking first order and as a cop that was perfect for him. When the pack first came out I was able to use the interactions I earned in the first order outside of batu like check I.D, arrest individuals, and I forgot what the interaction was called where I was able to get an army of stormtroopers to stand around holding blasters.
I was having a lot of fun with it and then it was patched out for some reason. So there is practically nothing to do related to starwars outside of Batu.

The pack itself is not bad but it just could have been so much more!
