My current save started with a plot twist. My sim had just started dating Mathew, he had declared his love in public, called and told her he had a huge crush on her. I was ready to let it run its course and for the two of them to get married. Then she lost her job, she called Mathew and wanted to see him to ask for advice or help - and he completely blew her off. She was so embarrassed.
Later, when she's at the park, she meets a friend she knows, Joseph, and complains to him and he offers her to move in with him and his two kids. She ended up marrying him instead, and they had four kids together. I'm now on gen 3 and the first gen 4 kid just turned into a teenager. Both Joseph and Abigail is dead now, and buried side by side.
Nice to know that Mathew revealed his selfish side before the commitment. Joseph was meant to be.
