Being honest is a sketchy part of the program. Game Changer Gggmanlives was paid to review Anthem on his YouTube channel and had his content removed when he cited issues with the game.

EA reps claim the take down was due to concerns regarding honesty but nothing he mentioned in his review was dishonest. He cited poor frame rate and horrible load times as the main issues, all of which are now widely discussed problems.
If this is true, then I will look at the game changer program differently. What I miss in the article in the link is EA giving the specific reason to demand the removal of his content. Not meeting the guidelines feels like a vague argument. If he told lies, it would be in EA's interest to point it out exactly so they can rectify lies that are big enough to as for removal of content.
In any case, as soon as I figured out what game changers are, I stopped seeing them as independent reviewers. Even if game changers don't get paid with money , the are given games for free before the release date , and I got the impression they even got the trip to EA play for free . So they are attached to EA and can lose privileges if they go against the game changer rules. They depend on EA for those priveleges. For me it feels as if EA is using them as advertisers.
I do like to watch them though, and a lot of them are simply very dedicated fans. They are very good in showcasing the game, but for critical, objective reviews I look elsewhere.
