I thought a sim would need to get hired again to benefit from the degree + bonus? So, if quitting the job is needed anyway, I'd just stay out of it during most of those uni years. In the long run the extra pay will more than cover up for the lost income. Might be easier to just take some odd jobs if needed to make ends meet.
