I am not too bothered about the university aspect of things. I used to love the university expansions, but now I’m in my mid thirties, uni-based gameplay for my sims isn’t all that appealing.
What I would love though is an education expansion pack which has four levels of education:
- Preschool/nursery for toddlers
- Elementary/primary school for kids
- High/secondary school for teens
- Uni for young adults/adults/elders
Having school-aged kids and being a teacher, personally, this kind of pack would appeal much more. Beyond that though, I feel that to rehash a purely University pack for the third time just focusing on this stage of education would be boring and incredibly restrictive with another pack aimed at the young adults stage yet doing little to flesh out the other life stages.
A school pack would be new and interesting and could appeal across every single life stage as well as opening up active “careers” for toddlers up to elders in the form of following them to school but also active careers in the form of teacher/lecturer.
I haven’t got terribly high hopes to ever see these dreams realised as everything in Sims 4 seems to be a paired back version of what has come before, so it’s hardly likely that they will actually churn out something that is much more developed than previous iterations.
