- I realise living on campus is a main culprit of my poor grade ! My sims is always late to class walking so slowly to the building. I should move them out and live off campus so they just step out of their house and instantly disappear into classes ! That’s kind of odd!

When my Sim was living on campus, I always had her walk to the little area between buildings and wait, because I could never remember which building it was. They definitely take too long to get there otherwise. She did go to class an hour early on her own for the first week or so, but then she just stopped doing it. They need to fix that, since I assume they are always supposed to. - GalacticGal6 years agoLegendI've only had Sims go through uni twice since it came out. I was experimenting with a new mod that threw a monkey wrench into my game and had to start it anew. Finally, my Sims were ready for uni. I decided this time to place all five of them into the same uni in the very same dorm. One was a Global Superstar, a Rock Star, and his siblings plus his girlfriend from high school. I had also learned just shortly before this venture that a Sim could have more than just two classes at a time. Plus, I learned it was a good idea to turn aging off, for the duration. Each of my five Sims took three hardcore classes. One of my Sims managed to blow a class. He got an F, but instead of letting him spoil my plans to have them all graduate at the same time, he took a fourth class to catch up. (And by golly, it was the same one he failed, too.) I always checked to see when they had what classes and what had to be done prior to the end of the Term. Since you are given about two days before a Term starts, I used that time to have each of my Sims study the class online, then do the homework for the first two classes of the term, since generally there is a day before the third class began. Some classes require a test at the end. Others may require a presentation or a Term Paper. Both of these things had to be completed and turned in before the end of the Term. Presentations must be given no earlier than 8 AM but you had, I believe until 5 PM on any given day.
With all of this going on times five, I just juggled things. Not to brag, four of the five graduated with honors. Three with A+ average, one with an A- average, one with an A average, but no honors. Not bad. I had fun. I also had my singer take moments in time to perform an away concert, which sent him to a rabbit hole, courtesy of the Road to Fame mod, so he kept his family in the Simoleons. Occasionally, they'd go to a live concert, starring him, and once in awhile they'd go out to eat as a group. They threw one heck of a Kegger the evening prior to graduation, but I think they deserved it.

For future reference, if you click on the classroom buildings, one of them will pop up the option for office hours, and that's the one your sim has class in. I never had trouble with either of my uni sims getting to class on time, they both popped up the "go to class" an hour early, went there, and waited (sometimes I had to cancel other interactions while they were waiting, like chatting with other people), but it happened all 6 terms for both the two separate times (in two separate games) that I was checking out uni. You might consider repairing your game?- LadyGray016 years agoSeasoned Ace

Good to know, I'll remember that. I haven't done a game repair for a few updates, so who knows, might work. - SimAlexandria6 years agoSeasoned AceI found the pack boring but I liked the bikes and build/cas items. It's my new least fav expansions though, it's always been City Living in last before this one came out haha.
But I'm more of a family player and like to play households with lots of kids and babies and tots, etc. I'm not that interested in the young adult stage as much, unless they are parents. The uni-life doesn't work so well with a bunch of kids and it gets in the way of my 3 day/family rotational play too.
But that's just a matter of taste and personal play style of course - FYI the organizations help with extra credit too, except the spirit squads, brainiacs is actually the best for this since it earns you extra credit for all classes everytime you attend a meeting as soon as you are a seasoned member (lvl 2).
- Meela_Pasht6 years agoRising VanguardMy Sims take 3 classes per term and I haven't had any problems (I'm taking multiple Sims through various degrees to see how this works). The lowest grade was a B+. They live on campus and participated in some activities during off times. I am a very "on hands" Goddess and managed their every move so no I haven't had any problems. I guess it depends on how you play your game. Luck to everyone :D

The bike... all my club members show up in bikes!! Especially when I live in an apartment all the bikes are inside the building . It is a nightmare lol
