Hello, I've had a bit of a break for The Sims for the last few years while growing my own family. My husband suggested I start playing again while laid up recovering from surgery so excuse the old questions. I started a family with the purpose of having a teenager who would go on to University. I just started playing and I'm so lost. There is no cafeteria in his dorm so how is he supposed to eat??
I have never sent any Sims to Foxworthy, so I don't know that campus. But Britechester has places to eat.
Have him go down to
Darby's Den around five pm. Free meals can be had. They are also open in the mornings. Plus, you'll find vendors open around the campus. Also, some of the NPCs will deposit food in the dorm. I have always placed my Sims in Wyvern Hall. You are able to renovate to a certain extent. Turn on the cheat bb.enablefreebuild. (Have to turn on testingcheats true, first.) You can add a short fridge, a microwave. I place two countertops side by side in one of the hallways between dorm rooms. Place the short fridge on one end, with the microwave on top of it. This will leave room for a coffeemaker. I also put in a popcorn popper (provided you have the pack that came with). Recently, I've added the hotpot that came with Snowy Escape. But, mind you, that one often gets nicked. Gr.
On holidays, there is a Holiday Menu at Darby's Den, all for free. I do hope this helps. If your Sim is at the Foxworthy campus, just take a look around in map view. There's bound to be a place like Darby's Den. Best of luck!
