Unnatural skin color can be inherited?

I've heard of children having a skin colour that one of their grandparents have. so say both parents are green, but a grand parent had green black or white, the grand child can be the same. I've never played that far so I don't know. But I have read it somewhere.

I ask because I have a family of 2 sisters than both are red


Im not controlling they, but lately one was pregnant with a guy with mid colored skin, and their daughter has same skin than father, or if not exactly tone, near him. (pregnancy and birth was uncontrolled)

Then I ask if she has new babies (uncontrolled or controlled by me) she has chance of have a red baby?

Yes. As you can see, these twins inherited their father's red skin.
