I don't like when ppl get all dismissive of other play styles and think theirs is better or what the game should be more focused on. Like I see ppl saying that builders shouldn't have gotten their own pack because that's not what the game is focused on. When for me building and live mode is equally important to me because I wouldn't enjoy one without the other. My motivation and inspiration to build comes from live mode and my inspiration and enjoyment I get from playing live mode comes from the stuff I build.
That's kinda what I found bad about TS4. The live mode does not motivate to build. What motivates to build is just how easy it is to share creations, gain followers on the gallery or youtube, twitter, etc... almost like a contest. The Sims is becoming less of a game and if in the past I was strongly opposed to this, now I kinda see it since the options are so unbalanced! I like improvements but I would love even more if all the game modes received the same love.
What happedned to the latest dlc? No one is talking about it anymore... Everything is so niche and temporary this days!
