Kits will be returning to the EA App for PC/Mac starting today, April 16, and to Steam on April 20.
Purchasers will continue to receive a 5% discount when using a Creator Code with a kit purchase.
Kits returning to storefronts is probably the smartest decision the higher-ups have made in a while.
This was something I mentioned in my Marketplace feedback. I said I would reconsider purchasing kits if they returned to the EA App, where I have previously bought all of my Sims DLC from.
I'm relieved they actually listened. I'll now be able to pick up the last two kits that were released, as I didn't get the chance before the changes were made.
I'm very happy that all official DLC can be bought on storefronts again.
Capturing information on a presentation for the sim 4 discover university does not work - I’ve checked if it’s because my mods are broken and it’s not :)
I am thankful for that change. I can now purchase kits again.
