I always think "Ok, let's have another kid" and then of course it backfires. I've also noticed that multiples happen more frequently if I'm rotating households and the birth occurs when it's another household's turn. It happened that way with the twins in the save I've been playing recently. - MDianaSims6 years agoSeasoned Ace@modifien I used a nanny to help my sim through the early stages of the 7 toddler challenge. I dismissed her once the toddlers were self sufficient enough to potty and learn other skills on their own. From my perspective she did a decent job.
@mariefoxprice83 I think the multiple birth while the household isn't active has been around since the beginning. I don't know if they ever fixed it, if it's a feature or maybe it's fixed but not for older saves? - amp1076 years agoRising VeteranWow congrats! That’s crazy, I never manage to get more than one without the use of fertility traits.
- One of my Sim couples had conceived identical triplets from Risky WooHoo and without the aid of anything that increased fertility.
I had no idea it was triplets until they were born, and my jaw stayed dropped for a solid minute.
All I can say is, I was fortunate that the parents were vampires. - mariefoxprice836 years agoSeasoned Ace

I've only been playing that save a month or two. so it's definitely not an old save. - RouenSims6 years agoSeasoned Ace

That's awesome, given how rare identical multiples are in this game.
And you may want to hire a nanny when they're toddlers. They tend to be quite helpful.
I’m surprised to hear that multiples are rare. I’ve only had one birth that was a single birth. The rest have all been multiples. - texxx786 years agoSeasoned Ace

I very rarely had twins in the past. I'm playing a rotation of 4 households now and 3 of them had twins! I was like whoaaa... i only age my played households when they're active so they all were born while i was playing that family. I did get suspicious if it had anything to do with rotational play :) - @GalacticGal Thank you SO MUCH for the advice! I will use all of it. I'm doing a random legacy challenge, so, uh, I have to pray the RNG is merciful with their traits.
