updated list- get famous

some of the list we know so far...

-most of the careers can make you famous and some skills also.
-also retail, vets,restaurants have zoro famous.
-sims don't have to live in the valley to become famous.
-archaelogy give lectures,identifying artifacts, writing archaeology books.
-vampires can become famous also.
-in skill-open mic night, dance off, busking, karaoke,djing,selling art and ECT.
-earn fame points, unlock perks and gain benfits.
-some perks are Fashion trailblazer.
-sims can drop everything to to skrike a pose on Starlight Boulevard and some fan's
just may faint but don't worry the bouncer will take care them.
-also you have the Squad perk.
-Bowling that perfect game
-no pets can become famous.
-child or teens can be famous also, they have drama club and famous perents,
-singing skill-perfoming in public
-sims can have a reputation without be a celebrity.

but remember you'll have fans and Stans can act strange, then you'll have the paparazzi.
and it looks like we'll have a new bed-pod beds

10/26 acting & CAS live stream
11/2 fame & Repuation live stream
11/9 del sol valley & build and buy live stream



i may of missed a few... if you see any more i'll put it on the list.

    So, those two careers from the base game (Painting, Culinary), careers from other packs (plural), and probably more base game ones as well (there's a Sim in some of what's out already being admired while playing a guitar, which is part of the Entertainer career). I imagine we'll learn more when Sims Camp embargo lifts.

    We should have a way to go on TV shows for interviews.

    I think that was involved in Sims 3 and it's rather disappointing that it can't be done here.

    Totally agree, I really hope they don't do a repeat of the mess they did in TS3, mainly the disgrace system that a sim would have to endure, that was just plain awful. I had a few sims get their relationships totally trashed by being falsely accused of something they didn't do, or one occult type was married either to a human or a different occult type. That second part really destroyed a few of my happy couples that were faithful to each other.

    As for other careers:

    Astronaut
    Athlete
    Critic
    Culinary
    Doctor
    Entertainer
    Painter
    Politician
    Scientist
    Social Media
    Tech Guru
    Writer

    You also have to take into consideration the branches though. For example, A charity organizer in the Politician branch would have no reason to be famous.



    If you can become famous from having a high skill, these are the skills I could see being reasonably famous for:

    Archaeology
    Baking
    Comedy
    Cooking/Gourmet Cooking
    Dancing
    Dj Mixing
    Guitar
    Logic
    Painting
    Photography
    Piano
    Pipe Organ
    Programming
    Rocket Science
    Singing
    Video Games
    Violin
    Writing.


    Although I hope it is optional. I hope there are OPPORTUNITIES to become famous with the above skills, not forced into it.

    I think a few careers would to good to be famous... but I also wonder if we are getting a supernatural with it? if so I hope for witches.. think of this a witch asked for someone to sign something and they don't get it... so the witch does a spell on the celebrity like taking the fame away or make them more famous or a spell that sends bees after the celebrity.

    I also wonder if all careers will end up being famous? or just some of them? until we get a list from them we are just guessing but I also wonder about how this is going to work..." the fame thing" will someone get famous from just putting a plant? or maybe playing music in the street?

    I have a feeling your right on the supernatural but until they say no, I'm wanting to know how the fame thing going to be? will it be like TS3 Fame? or will it be like the vampires point system.
