Using generic lots for club hangouts?
Is there a way to make generic lots selectable as club hangouts? I assumed I'd be able to, but the game tells me I'm not allowed to use a generic lot type for my club to hangout, even if my sim visits...

You could make it a residence and have one club member live there, then set the lot trait to private so you don’t have neighbors showing up. I’ve done it this way before, and it worked really well.
You could also build a high fence where NPCs are spawning and have a locked gate so that you have some separation between the NPC horde and your building.
