Vacation ruined- pregnant

My sim has always dreamed of going to Selvadorada. She was a toddler when the pack came out but I knew it would be perfect for her. I've planned for her to go all her life. I worked it in her story.

She lives with her boyfriend in a TLC apartment. They are in college (mod) so it can be hard to get money but they saved up the money to go. Her boyfriend also planned to propose by the waterfall. Well, it's the first day. I had them come home from the cantina to get some rest. I had a weird feeling she should take a pregnancy test right before they left since I have Risky WooHoo and I haven't tested in a few sim days. As soon as the vacation home lot loaded she began feeling nauseous. I just knew. Turns out my intuition was right- she's pregnant. It gets "better" though- she's generation 6 of the Not So Berry challenge. You have to have twins that generation and Scarlett is indeed pregnant with twins!

  • Well that is suboptimal. On the other hand it's not impossible to explore while pregnant. Why don't you make the most of her pregnancy in Selvedorada?
  • Are certain options greyed out if she's pregnant? Maybe get her boyfriend to do the hard labor (clearing paths and stuff) and she can just go along for the walks?
  • The only damper on the vacation I can perceive is a pregnant Sim has to empty her bladder more often, feels nauseous, tires easily and gets hungry more often. Other than that, have a great time!
  • I can up you one—my sim went into labor the second they arrived in their vacation home. Haven't tried for a vacation since...
  • What happens if a baby is born in the vacation areas? I assume its like when you move household, that the baby will go with them home when the vacation is over?
  • Just make sure she goes home before she goes into labor. Otherwise, she may be stuck in labor for days because sims can’t give birth while on vacation.
