- I don't own any, because I have never, ever used them. I never used Bon Voyage in TS2, and I didn't use World Adventures, and I wasn't around long enough for Island Paradise, but I just have never found any of the holiday locations interesting enough. Maybe if The Sims 4 did a beach, or a theme park style destination with hotels and pools attached (think like Disney parks), yeah I'd absolutely be down. For now, the two we have are of 0 interest to me.
- I don't hate the worlds for what they are, but I dislike the concept of a vacation world. I'd prefer if we could just add rental lots to any world and take our sims on vacation anywhere.
- I do prefer JA over GF... but for different reasons. In GF you are generally going there for a reason. To gather plants and insects so that you can level up in skills and add to collections, as well as fish so you can get the collectibles. I'm not as fond of a lot of the items that came with it. JA is more fun for me because of the exploring, all of the Buy Build objects, the dancing, the interesting people and places. Plus, you do have plants, places to explore, Are there new fish? I am not sure. But I am certainly enjoying the gameplay and objects in JA a lot more than I thought I would.
- Hermitgirl8 years agoSeasoned AceI like them both now and want more. Since most of my sims don't hold jobs (especially the rabbit hole ones) they go fairly often for a change of pace or to pick up the skills there. Depends on their stories. I want a beach vacation and hopefully a ski vacation in time.

I think you can, but you have to make your own; you have to change the lot type to Rental. - I don’t have any in the sims 4 at the moment, but I loved the vacation worlds in the sims 2 and 3 equally.
- I like the idea of taking a break and going on vacation. However, only two worlds are not a lot, and I get easily bored. It would be so nice to have a few more, with different themes - that nature/forest thing is not my thing. I would like something more like a historical town, where the Sims can go shopping, visit museums and eat at a fancy bistro.
- GrumpyGlowfish8 years agoSeasoned AceAs much as I love the look and atmosphere of Granite Falls, it gets boring very quickly, both for me and my sims. In fact, I only ever go there to collect herbs and insects, because that's pretty much all you can do there that you can't do anywhere else, besides admiring the scenery. I did recently build several vacation homes there, though, and I think I might use it more often in the future for honeymoons and family vacations.
As opposed to that, I'm totally in love with every aspect of Selvadorada, so much that I keep making new families including at least one archaeologist so I always have an excuse to go there again. Maybe it's because I'm a Tomb Raider fan, but I just can't get enough of it, and I'll be very happy if we get more vacation worlds filled with possibilities like this one. As I said in another thread, I'm especially hoping for a flashy Las Vegas world with casinos, surrounded by desert. - I'm not a huge fan of them... I'm the type of person who never leaves their sims' home lot (because of loading screens ugh) I just don't know if it's worth it since there's not really much to do in them.
