Vampire Players: What is happening....

So I had it happen a second time...still unsure of what it is or why it's happening but it looks really cool! It lasts for about 2-3 sim hours and it's 4 bats flying around the moon.

It's a dream. If they have a daymare, it would show the sun and butterflies, I believe (usually more frequent with Fitful Sleep).

I'll have to test the likelihoods of dreams and daymares with Vampiric Slumber and Day Phobia, as I haven't paid that much attention to the feature. Yet again we have Vampires with tons of little nuances.

I think this is a really cute feature. I've never noticed it with my vampire. He has the fitful sleep weakness, but I've never noticed him having daymares either. Perhaps because he sleeps in a normal bed at night? He's not keen on coffins. He's fussy like that. :D

I believe that's the case, though now I'm riled up to go test it out.

Thanks for this. Now I can add another vampire tidbit I'd forgotten to my Simming Tips (after some thorough testing).

Wow I play vampires all these years and I never noticed. I thought I knew everything about this game.

My vampire doesn’t have any weaknesses thanks to a mod. I do have a mod that gives my Sims moodlets if they have a bad, good, inspiring… dream. She didn’t have a dream moodlet when she woke up so I don’t think it’s that. In fact she didn't have any new moodlets at all.
She was just sleeping in her coffin. She didn't need to sleep but when I wan't time to go faster I will have her sleep. I have a mod by LittleMsSam that keeps Sims in bed till 6am unless they have a job then it keeps them asleep till it's 2 hours from the time they have to leave for work. Her coffin is also upgraded to have massage control and a better mattress. She also just had a baby in the last 24 hours. I also engraved epitaph on her coffin that day with "Those who enter will be bitten". That's all I can think of that might of caused this to occur.

what you mean to tell me my vamps could have been dreaming all this time :open_mouth:

i usually have them hibernate when they do so i didn't know this could happen
