They could have used lot-traits as an opt-in.
We have a lot-trait that might give you vampire-children even if your sims are just plain ones.
Just give me a lot-trait “ Future Vampire-Snack” and I’ll stick it on my house.
I am miffed today. I try to turn an area industrial, it is hard. There is a lot-trait that makes a lot go greener faster but not one that makes it more industrial.
The in-game cat scratched the bed, 250 simoleons. Bill for a 4-stories home is 300 simoleons. Paying the bills is so not a problem and I am currently looking into what kind of mods would make money an actual issue for my sims.
It is hard going and mod-intensive to make life difficult for my sims.
That is why I wanted the vampires. Something scary out of my control. I just want my little sims to have something to worry about. If there are no challenges to overcome, then the victories feel less interesting.
I would totally use that lot trait! I try to put Vampire Nexxus even on my human sim and still cant hardly get even the visiting ones lol, I would definitely use a trait like you mentioned, especially if it helped bring them back
