I love occult sims. A lot. Way, way too much. Started with aliens, then I got vampires. So I was just wondering, which of the two occult sims in the Sims 4 do you guys prefer?Vampires can obviously do more, but the constant thirst really gets old, especially if you have seven vampires in your family (yes, I regret my choices). But aliens are pretty cool too, especially now that I'm not getting the endless relationship hits from undisguised aliens.So, which do you prefer playing with? And why?

I just like occult sims so they are pretty tied for what each can do, even if we get werewolves, fairies, mermaids, genies, and witches in the sims 4 they will still be tied and I will still probably have too many of them we'll see. I just like to have different sims that's all...actaually I wouldn't mind an optional imaginary friend that you can order with a different design. Bring 'em all on :D

I haven't played Sims 3, and the sheer amount of occult sims is one of the main reasons why I'd absoloutely love to.

I generally prefer vampires but I do think the aliens are pretty awesome this time around. But if I had to choose one, it would definitely be vampires.

I like and play with both although I only have one alien and only the premade vamps (for now). Now all is missing are werewolves and witches :wink:

I've always preferred aliens from space over the occult. I'm even miffed they turned the ghosts into Capers as in, the friendly ghost. Mostly, I like playing Spock of Vulcan, for which I still had to find cc for his ears. This iteration won't allow the pointy ears from the aliens on 'human' sims. Face/palm.

I haven't really played with either yet (cause I always forget to) but at the moment I prefer Aliens. Vampires are just too...stalkerish to me. Like, every time I play a household, whether in a new save or just switching between families, almost every night without fail there is one standing outside the front door. They just walk up and stand there for a few hours and then leave but it's still annoying cause I have to keep an eye on them (plus how ever many Sims are in the current household) to make sure they don't bite/turn one of my Sims while I'm tending to something else.

Maybe after I actually play with Vampires I'll get a new appreciation for them but until then I'm totally Team Alien!

I love them both. lol Some of my favorite memories involving them.

I don't have the picture of them, but this was before EA fixed it, and they tried for a baby, and both of them ended up pregnant.
He was VERY protective over her. One day while out enjoying each others company some rude woman came up and attempted to start a fight with the wife. That was until her knight in shinning armor came to her rescue.
