I've had trouble with my new saves not generating Vampires properly for several months. By the time the game finally generates one new Vampire, it has already generated six to eight Aliens. All of the Aliens are consistently generated during the first 7 days of a new save. The first Vampire is consistently generated during week two and sometimes as late as week three. It's usually an elder Grand Master with either the Bodybuilder aspiration or the Active trait so I guess they're meant to die. Many of them also have the Glutton trait so I see them getting sick a lot at food stalls because they probably have the Withered Stomach weakness. Remarkably, the game does let them go to the Spice Festival where all of the Aliens are happily munching away on all kinds of food.

Since July, I've also noticed that Vlad doesn't always make his welcoming call. If he does then he doesn't follow up with a visit like he used to. The last time he called and then came to visit was back on July 1 when I started a new save to test the Island Living pack.

I rarely see the Vatores in any new save. When I do they're using super-speed. They never stop to visit anyone at night.

I've started looking at older saves from 2018 to see if they were affected. I picked saves in which my Sims had become friends with townie Vampires. I was disappointed to see that their Vampire friends no longer stop by to visit at night. I've also noticed that all Vampires can fly as bats now. I see them appear and disappear at portals throughout the night.

On the other hand, I see the Aliens everywhere, and they're not just walking around neighborhoods. The game lets them attend all social events, which are held at night. I see them walking around Sulani and at Sulani community events. And yet there are no Vampires at venues like nightclubs or at social events like dance parties.

Break-ins - I haven't had a single one in the 24 new saves that I've started since July to see if the Vampire issue is a fluke. To me, it seems like Vampires have been nerfed to oblivion.

You have my sympathy and condolences on the loss of functional vamps from the game. Even with the mods I use to spruce them up, it's like they are slated for oblivion. You've done a lot more research and comparison on this than I ever could (I got the pack recently). I listed all the mods I am currently using, with descriptions and links to where you can get them, on the Mod Finds page here, if you want to try using some vamp mods to improve your game, though according to at least one mod-maker, autonomy mods have been negatively affected recently by something done to the game from a recent update, so that one great experience I had with vamps "off the leash" hasn't repeated itself. The autonomy mods, some of them seem to work, and others, work but in an altered state, as in you have to start the ball rolling with conversation or action but then it continues on its own at least in some aspects. Worth a try anyway.
